- Read the instructions that came with the candle before lighting it.
- Make sure your candle is in a candle safe holder. Purchase our decorative holders here.
- Place the candle holder on a level, heat resistant surface.
- Trim your candle wicks before each use, trim it to 1/4 inch before you burn it for the first time. Purchase your candle wick trimmer here.
- Make sure the area around the candle is free from drafts.
- Burn the candle for no more than four hours at a time.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep any combustible items away from the candle.
- Extinguish the candle when it reaches 1/2 inch from the bottom of the container.
- Allow the candle to cool before handling it.
